Mountain Biking
AOEC runs half day and full day mountain biking sessions for people of primary 7
age upwards. The sessions are tailored for all abilities and fitness levels and
take place around Arrans many and expanding trails and routes, and ranges from forestry
tracks and paths to single track trails.
Mountain biking participants will get a chance to hone their balance and co-ordination
as well as developing key Mountain Biking skills such as effective braking and the
ready position. It is also a very effective and enjoyable way of exploring the island
with the end result being mud splattered smiling faces!
